Legal aspects of running a startup: How not to mess-up your company!
We know! This topic might seem a bit boring to some people. However, navigating the Danish legislation when starting your own business is completely necessary to ensure the best possible conditions for succeeding as a company.
We are therefore dedicating our eight StartupTalk to address the struggle of seeing through the legal aspects associated with starting up a business.
Speakers:
Anne Cathrine Wilhjelm is lawyer at Preseed Ventures. Being overall responsible for the legal aspects in a VC found, she has been involved in hundreds of startup due-diligence processes. She is an expert in most common mistakes startups do, both in terms of their internal relations (agreements between shareholders/founders) but also in regards of their relations with investors.
Søren Munk Hansen is former attorney at Plesner, but is now co-founder of the tech-startup Archii. Søren therefore knows the legal issues in startups from both sides of the table and will share what Archii has done to protect the company from future legal issues.
And Nicolaj Højer Nielsen (business angel and serial entrepreneur) will give an introduction to the topic, seen from a layman perspective.
This event will help you answer important questions like:
– What are the most significant legal challenges and opportunities for startups?
– How do I avoid making legal mistakes?
– How do I ensure compliant business conduct as a startup?
