About Professor Anja Boisen
Professor Anja Boisen is developing a miniaturized tabletop device that can perform therapeutic drug monitoring on a single drop of blood in a matter of minutes. Her research group works on a solution available at point of care without the need for specialized personnel and at a fraction of the currently available cost.
About Robert Burger, COO and founder of BluSense Diagnostics
Robert Burger is a Cofounder and COO of BluSense Diagnostics. A company that was established in 2014 based on research from DTU Nanotech exploring whether magnetic nanoparticles can be used for detecting biomarkers and turning them into valuable commercial products for diagnosing diseases. Today, BluSense Diagnostics has more than 50 employees in both Denmark and their subsidiary in Taiwan and has over the years launched several tests for dengue fever and very recently a test to measure antibodies against Covid-19 which is intended to assess protection after vaccination.
